I have never been much of a diarist. I like the idea of writing one's daily life in a simple and mundane way so that it can be read with nostalgia some years later. Unfortunately all my atempts to write diaries have been self-boicioted for several reasons.
1. I tend to forget I'm carrying a diary. 2. I tend to forget to carry the diary. 3. When I carry the diary I tend to forget a pen. 4. All events seem to be irrelevant at the time and therefore not worthy of being entered in the diary. 5. Everything I do write in the diary seems to be irrelevant or stupid when I read it later on.
This is a scan of my "diary-wannabe". Its so messed up that the events aren't even in cronological order (I tend to write in the first blank page I find).
"Its sunny in Birmingham", it reads. "the train is late and i'm sitting under the sun like a lizzard"
