The boy with big eyes - page 5 by Velica The boy with big eyes - page 5 by Velica
I did this story for a contest in Olhão, the small fishing town where I come from, in the south of Portugal.

1. "Suddenly I was surrounded by water"
2. "I used all my strenght"
3. "But the boy was getting heavy"
4. "And heavier"
5. "Until I couldn't anymore..."
6. "And I dropped him."
7. "But magically"
8. "The boy had disappeared"
9. "I ran home"
10. "And prayed to Nossa Senhora do Rosário*"
11. "For the boy not to come back..."
12. End

* Nossa Senhora do Rosário is the saint to whom the fishermen still pray.
