I must go on standing

It's the 11th of September, 2001. Your tower is already on fire and the smoke is taking over, choking and pushing everybody against the window. Through the corner of your eye you see the second plane melting itself against the second tower. And there you are, sitting tied to a chair. People from the floors above are already jumping. You can see them droping, like shadows with a white colar. And you're tied. You can't jump. You'll die slowly.

It's some other day in your life and you wake up after the accident. You're lying in a hospital bed and altough you see your limbs where they always were, you can't move them. You're a half person. Your friends come over, leave flowers and leave. Your life will never be the same. You ask the nurse to stop your suffering and pull the plug. She says no. They say no. You'll die slowly.
