Medical file:
During his PhD, Dr Oruc Reis spilled radio labeled prostaglandin in his right eye leaving him blind (or so he claims). Since then he grew a massive red beard, domesticated his lab mouse (Murray) and commonly uses “ pirate terminology” such as “Arrrr”, “Yarp, matey” and “Aye aye”. His right hand was replaced by a hook over an unrelated event dealing with a food blender, two Ukranian strippers and a blueberry muffin.

Note:
this was the first Freak of Science. It is based on a MSc student on my lab who managed to stick a drop of radioactive prostaglandin [link] in her eye.
The real Barbarossa was actually a turkish privateer named Oruç Reis (hence the name chosen). [link]

A cara dele faz-me lembrar um bocado a do Robotnik - embora esse não fosse pirata.
